the city of moses lake was looking to remodel their existing building, but quickly realized it was more cost effective to building from the ground up, which is where my team came in. we designed a brand new, ground up recreation building which houses a gym, exercise area, locker rooms, classrooms, kitchen, and hockey rental area for the adjacent hockey rink. the interiors are bright white with pops of blue throughout. wood and concrete elements round out the design and accentuate the exposed joist structure.
